The scene where Carrie levitates Margaret to force her to talk to her was originally much longer, with Margaret continuously ranting about her nonsensical beliefs, but the scene was trimmed because Chloë Grace Moretz was visibly trying hard not to laugh in the shot (the extended scene is included as a deleted scene on the Blu-ray).
