Mel Brooks' classic Star Wars spoof Balle spaziali (1987) predicted Disney buying Lucasfilm Ltd. and taking over the franchise from George Lucas. In the film, the Dinks are based on the Biancaneve e i sette nani (1937). When Lone Starr and his crew are found and rescued in the desert by the Dinks, Lone Starr says "When did we get to Disneyland?".
