Some Angel Grove street signs read "Reefside" and "Ocean Bluff Rd." These are a reference to Power Rangers DinoThunder (2004) and Power Rangers Jungle Fury (2008), which were set in the cities of Reefside and Ocean Bluff. In the movie Sam Scott also mentions "Mariner Bay", a location from Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue (2000).
