During the scene where Casey and Raphael are being attacked by General Gato, Casey says "And I thought Girl Scouts were pushy!", which is very similar, and therefore may be an homage to Michelangelo's line, "And I thought insurance salesmen were pushy!" from Tartarughe Ninja alla riscossa (1990) when the Foot Clan invades April's apartment.
