There are a number of classic American firearms in the movie; C. Thomas Howell uses a Winchester 1912 12 gauge and minutes later, a Remington 870 Wingmaster shotgun, cutting it down after his first kill; Patrick Swayze has both a Ruger Ultralight and a Colt 1873 SA Army in 45 Colt with Ivory stocks, Charlie Sheen is seen carrying an early S&W Model 66 357.Magnum and several of them are seen using a Marlin 336, presumably in 30-30 Winchester.
