In one scene, Elvis is shocked to learn of Sharon Tate's murder by members of Charles Manson's cult. Before doing this film, Austin Butler, who portrays Elvis Presley, played Manson Family member Charles 'Tex' Watson in C'era una volta... a Hollywood (2019) with Kurt Russell who, not only played The King in Elvis, il re del rock (1979), but also appeared unbilled with Presley in Bionde rosse brune...
