Roy Demeo was the leader of a drug trafficking crew connected with the Gambimo crime family dubbed the Murder Machine, whose base of operations was the infamous Gemini Lounge (now a church today), and the method of murder and the disposing of bodies was named after said place. In the 1960s-1970s scenes, actor Ray Liotta was then 57, playing Roy Demeo when he was in his 20s and 30s. The real-life Roy Demeo was murdered in 1983 when he was 40 years old.
