This film manages to refer to every single Wallace & Gromit adventure, even the upcoming ones. When Gromit is in jail, we see a crescent moon through the window, referring to their trip to the Moon in Wallace and Gromit - Una fantastica gita (1989). In the same scene, "Feathers Was 'Ere" is written on the wall. He was the villain of I pantaloni sbagliati (1993). Gromit's reading a book published by Penguin, and Feathers was a penguin. When Wallace thinks they have mice, he thinks about calling in pest control. He and Gromit become pest controllers in Wallace & Gromit - La maledizione del coniglio mannaro (2005). Gromit sees a poster for Baker Bob outside Wendoline's wool shop. Baker Bob would get murdered in Questione di pane o di morte (2008).
