Despite popular belief, Daniel was poisoned, while it implies Amanda was not. While Amanda is fine throughout the entire film, Daniel gets weaker, as shown in the bathroom. When Eric is checking the first room, the safe is open, suggesting Amanda used the antidote inside to save Daniel.
