John Bubber (Andy Garcia) receives a bouquet of flowers from Barbra Streisand, which were intended for the real hero, Bernie LaPlante (Dustin Hoffman). Streisand played Hoffman's wife in Mi presenti i tuoi? (2004) and Vi presento i nostri (2010), in which Hoffman also had the character name of "Bernie".
