Alternate timelines may explain tons of anachronisms, but they don't explain why Alex Summers (Havoc), who appeared to be in his early 20's in 1963 during the Cuban Missile Crisis during X-men: First Class is still somehow only a few years older than his brother Scott (Cyclops), who is a high school student 20 years later in 1983. Alex should be old enough to be Scott's father. (And we see that their non-mutant parents are not an advanced age, so this can't be passed off as Alex and Scott simply aging more slowly.)
