In the scene where Martin is eating pizza watching TV, the screen is passing Paula contra la mitad más uno (1971), directed by Néstor Paternostro. Director Sebastian Perillo and Paternostro have been friends for several years. Even Paternostro read the script of Amateur long before its shooting.
