The first live action movie to feature Frankie Raye who made her first comic appearance in Fantastic Four #164. She is best known for her alter ego Nova, who possesses the same flame powers as Johnny Storm and she is one of the successors who replaced Silver Surfer's role as Galatus herald. In this movie however, she never became Nova while her occupation as an army soldier was completely exclusive to this movie and was never affiliated with the US army in the comics.
