Loris Sallahian, who was 19 at the time, said filming the skinny dipping scene was tough for a lot of reasons. For one thing, the production schedule was pushed farther back into the fall, so when they filmed at 1:00am, it was very cold. Also, he agreed to do the nudity the scene required but he was very shy. They only showed their butts on camera, but he and the other guys still had to be totally naked. To make matters worse, it was supposed to be a closed set but someone forgot to tell the locals who had set up picnic baskets and lawn chairs along the lake to watch the action. Sallahian said the sight of a bunch of naked guys bouncing into the freezing water set them into "some rather questionable behavior." It got so bad he ended up walking off set until the director finally coaxed him back. But he told the director that he would only film the scene where he groped himself at the girls for running off after the guys came out of the lake if he could wear underwear. Originally he had agreed to do it naked. The director agreed.
