C-3PO is the first character to speak in the Star Wars film franchise. He appears in every film of the Skywalker saga portrayed by the same actor - despite not being released in chronological order. He repeats his first line, "Did you hear that" in Star Wars - L'ascesa di Skywalker (2019) but the tone is hopeful rather than fearful.
