This is Ryan Reynolds (Harry Goodman/Pikachu) and Karan Soni (Jack)'s first collaboration outside of the Deadpool (2016) and Deadpool 2 (2018), where they played Wade Wilson/Deadpool and Dopinder, in this film they don't have a scene together. They share a scene when trying to capture Cubone in a Poke Ball.
