After Lucy neutralizes the attack chicken, she remarks to Gru, "that pollo is loco", and laughs. That is a reference to the restaurant chain El Pollo Loco (Spanish for The Crazy Chicken), founded in Mexico in 1974 and expanded into the U.S. in 1980.
