The 21st August 1981 edition of show-business trade paper 'Variety' announced this movie as a Rastar Films production under the title "The Survivors" starring Alan Arkin and Peter Falk, which would make it a another vehicle for the comedy team duo who had previously teamed for Una strana coppia di suoceri (1979) and later co-starred in Il grande imbroglio (1986). The article also said the picture was written by Dennis Hackin who has no credit in the finished film.
