During press for David O. Russell's Amsterdam (2022), which stars Margot Robbie, Andrea Riseborough revealed that she almost played a role in Babylon, but ultimately scheduling conflicts didn't permit her involvement. She and Robbie expressed their regret that they had not shared any direct scenes in Russell's film and, ultimately, Babylon as well.
