The movie features a mini-reunion of cast members from the ABC-TV sitcom Una bionda per papà (1991). Actors Patrick Duffy, Staci Keanan, and Christine Lakin all appear in the film in various roles. Keanan's characters name in the film, "Dana," was also her character's name in the sitcom.
