The movie included elements from Elseworlds tale Batman & Dracula: Red Rain, such as Dracula and his minions' vampiric designs and a Vampire Batman (who appears in Bruce's nightmare). A bat crashes through the window (which serves as Bruce's inspiration to be Batman), only the bat lies dead in Bruce's nightmare.
