Numerous Eugene, Oregon landmarks are recognizable in the film. The two guys share a smoke early on at the summit of Skinner Butte (Ya-po-ah) with the larger mountain Spencer Butte (Champate) in the background. The college-campus scenes are filmed at the University of Oregon.
