Warner Bros distributed The Fugitive along with Free Willy - Un amico da salvare (1993) and I Goonies (1985). Richard Riehle appeared in Free Willy that was released a month before The Fugitive. Joe Pantoliano was once a fugitive in The Goonies. Pantoliano's fellow Goonies castmate Keith Walker wrote Free Willy around the same time he was working on The Goonies in Astoria, Oregon, where both films were shot and set in.
