Part of the success of the movie in Spain was in the dubbing cast for the voices, specially Mimí Muñoz, who dubbed Regan when she is possessed by the demon (Pazuzu actually). She had a similar voice tone to Mercedes McCambridge, being capable to replicate her demonic voice for giving Regan the necessary dimension of horror to be credible as the demon.
