In a way, the characters of King Willie and Jerry Lambert resemble Lieutenant Billy Sole from the original Predator; like Billy, King Willie was spiritual and fatalistic as each believed that what they encountered was invincible, and Jerry, like Billy, had tracking abilities albeit Jerry had more technology and surveillance equipment, and both men would sacrifice themselves so that their colleagues could escape from the Predator. All three characters shared the same fate: their skulls were taken as trophies by the alien.
