Bill Paxton (who appears in Terminator (1984) as one of the punkers) was originally cast as Stifler's dad but had to leave the project due to his schedule. One of the characters in the franchise is named Chuck Sherman who calls himself "The Shermanator". Further, where Nadia is using a payphone to call Jim, was shot at the same locale where Kyle Reese arrived on May 12, 1984, right before he steals the pants from the homeless man.
