This story is very similar to the 2010 story of Natalia Barnett. She was adopted from Ukraine at age 6 by Michael and Kristine Barnett. After several months with her new family, they went to court and had her date of birth changed to 22. She has a form of dwarfism, but they asserted that she was older than her records indicated.
