At around 38:00 into the film, when Colonel Shikishima is listening to Dr. Onishi's assessment concerning Kiyoko's most recent dream, a "CAUTION" note on the Doctor's equipment features the following English text beneath it: "DO SHITE conna to com adeka ka na kiyanan nai NO! Ikagen ni SEAY! MOU". When transcribed with Japanese characters, the text is actually a passive-aggressive message from the animator, which roughly translates as follows: "Why do I have to even draw this part! Give me a break! Geez".
