Epilogue before closing credits: "One week after Bugsy Siegel's death Virginia Hill returned all of the missing money to Meyer Lansky. Virginia Hill committed suicide in Austria. By 1991 the six million dollars invested in Bugsy's Las Vegas dream had generated revenues of 100 billion dollars." After Bugsy died in 1947, Virginia married her fourth husband, an Austrian skier, in 1950, giving birth to a son later that same year. In Austria in 1966, she died of a sleeping pill overdose at the age of 49.
