The movie contains quite a few actors who had appeared in Alien franchise up to then: Ian Holm from Alien (1979); Al Matthews and Mac McDonald from Aliens - Scontro finale (1986); and Christopher Fairbank from Alien³ (1992). The Diva Plavalaguna, with her elongated head, may be a visual reference to the titular monster from that franchise.
