Laurence Olivier (Narrator), Olivia Hussey (Juliet), Michael York (Tybalt), Roy Holder (Peter) and Keith Skinner (Balthasar) all later starred in Gesù di Nazareth (1977) also directed by Franco Zeffirelli. Olivier played Nicodemus, Hussey played Mary mother of Jesus, York played John the Baptist, Holder played Enoch and Skinner played the boy who was possessed by the devil.
