The film's plot was leaked on the websites Reddit and 4Chan over two months before the film was released, with most details proving to be accurate though there were some differences and changes, due to the film's hectic production with intensive rewrites and reshoots. Among these changes were Kylo Ren surviving the film before leaving on a quest for redemption, Jannah being either Finn's sister or Lando's daughter and Kylo Ren being given the Sith Wayfinder by a giant spider-like alien called 'The Oracle', which has been proven by models in behind the scenes videos and concept art.
