According to technical director William Reeves in an interview with Forbes magazine, the Pixar animators were not too pleased with the final look of baby 'Billy'. Because of time constraints, they could not get the "the fatty tissue that squishes when a baby moves" right, nor the movement of the diaper, which according to some viewers "looked and moved like cement."
