KC, who is portrayed as something of a scientific genius, offers the fact that the sun and moon appear to be almost exactly the same size when viewed by people on the earth as "evidence" that the moon is an artificial structure. He offers no explanation as to why anyone should want to design the moon that way, or what possible advantage would be gained by this painstaking effort, aside from its being aesthetically pleasing. However this is a realistic depiction of a popular conspiracy theory regarding the moon.
