Re-titled 'Sterling Metal' in order to avoid confusion with the similarly titled earlier version, Puro sangue (1931), this film was first telecast in Los Angeles Friday 28 February 1958 on KTTV (Channel 11), followed by Philadelphia Wednesday 9 April 1958 on WFIL (Channel 6); it first aired in San Francisco 2 April 1959 on KGO (Channel 7), and, finally, in New York City 2 February 1961 on WCBS (Channel 2). Its original title has since been restored, and it's presently in the Turner Classic Films library.
