The film depicts the birth of Caesarion (47- 30 BC), son of Julius Caesar and Cleopatra. He served as his mother's co-ruler on the throne of Egypt. Having survived Cleopatra herself, Caesarion is counted as the last sovereign member of the Ptolemaic dynasty, and the last pharaoh of ancient Egypt. He was executed by his adoptive brother Augustus at the end of the War of Actium (32-30 BC).
