Director Marion Pilowsky said to 'The Victor Harbor Times' of filming in Port Elliot on South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula for the movie's "climax and triumphant ending". She said: "I went there and literally had a sharp intake of breath, I was stunned by its beauty. I spoke to the location manager and said I wanted a beach like Port Elliot, and she said 'I think I could get Port Elliot'. It is truly a beautiful place."
