One of the most underrated jobs on "The Price Is Right" is the task of announcing. This is yet another unique aspect of the show in that it is probably the most announcer-intense show on the air. So much material rests on the announcer, such as the come-on-downs, all the prize copy, and the occasional banter between the host and him.
