Paisa Paisa song was sung by Manak-E a Punjabi singer.He had sung this song few years back in his Punjabi album.On request of Akshay Kumar the song was re-composed and re-released with a mix Hindi-Punjabi lyrics by RDB. The decision was made to use Paisa Paisa as the film's theme song due it being light and up-tempo.. It was also sampled in the song "Mitran De Haath Farkay" from the Album D-Unit /Asian Flava Volume 2. The singer is D.S.I.. Music by J Nas (DJ Sanj). The original inspiration of the song was from the Pakistani film Haibat Khan. The song was titled "I Love You Love Keh Gayi Re".
