The movie had its World Premiere on Monday 27th August 2018 at the Palace Nova Cinemas in Adelaide in South Australia in the Australian state where the movie was filmed. The gala event was attended by former Australian Prime Minister the Hon. Julia Gillard, the film's director Marion Pilowksy, local television celebrity Anne 'Willsy' Wills who hosted, and two of the movie's stars, Emily Taheny and Luke McKenzie.
