Most of the scenes were filmed in Crouch End, Highgate, Archway and Hampstead Heath (Parliament Hill). These are the same locations other notable Simon Pegg productions have been recorded (Spaced (1999), Shaun of the Dead (2004) etc). The school scenes were filmed in the (derelict) Asmount Primary School on Hornsey Lane.
