The last remake of a horror movie produced by Michael Bay and Platinum Dunes. After the intense backlash of constantly remaking classic horror films, they decided to only produce original content for the genre since then such as La notte del giudizio (2013) and A Quiet Place - Un posto tranquillo (2018).
