Wolf Kahler is best known for his roles in other films with actors from Sherlock Holmes films. In Barry Lyndon, he appears with Andre Morrell and Michael Hordern, who played Doctor Watson in The Hound of the Baskervilles and Young Sherlock Holmes. It also featured Philip Stone, who appeared in The Seven Per Cent Solution. He later appeared in Raiders of the Lost Ark, with another future Watson, John Rhys-Davies, and two Professor Moriartys: Paul Freeman and Anthony Higgins.
