It is often incorrectly assumed by viewers that Rachel survived the 7 day week after watching the tape because she showed a copy of it to Noah. She did copy the tape, but she was scheduled to die on a Wednesday because that is when she watched it. Noah is killed on a Thursday, implying that he watched it the previous Thursday. When Rachel goes to visit Becca in the psychiatric home, she tells her she has 4 days left.
