This is the fourth film in which Rachel McAdams plays a love interest to a man who can travel through (or otherwise manipulate) time; the others were Un amore all'improvviso (2009), Midnight in Paris (2011), and Questione di tempo (2013). In none of these four movies does McAdams's character herself get to participate in these time travels or manipulations.
