Emilia Clarke described working with Arnold Schwarzenegger as "definitely quite surreal. Everything you know about him on screen he brings in real life as well". She grew up on his films and idolized him and couldn't believe she was working with him. Clarke first met Schwarzenegger at the read-through and inwardly started geeking out. When she first heard him say "I'll be back" it was a major moment.
