Khan's character Bauaa Singh abandons Sharma's character Aafia and runs away to participate in the dance competition. In "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" (2008), both of their characters participated in a dance competition, with Khan's character, again the husband of Sharma's character, was disguised as another person. In both films, Sharma's character is deceived by that of Khan's.
