On the day they were supposed to shoot the scene where Wings Hauser and Jody Medford climb out of a wrecked car, Jody approached director John 'Bud' Cardos saying they couldn't shoot the sequence. Dumbfounded because it was a simple shot, John asked her the reason why and she replied that she had forgotten to wear underwear that day, and since her outfit was a skirt, she was worried what the camera would pick up. Production Coordinator Enid L. Kanto (married to producer Igo Kantor at the time) was forced to drive down to the nearest drug store to purchase her some underwear to get the scene finished.
