The film begins with Kamille, Quattro and Amuro rush out and use their mobile suits to assist Irma Beltorchika in her landing of her Beechcraft onto the aircraft's bay. They introduce themselves as they exit their crafts to be joined by Katz and Hayato. In Kidô senshi Z Gundam: Katz's Sortie (1985), Irma was met by Katz and Hayato on the bay, to be joined shortly by Kamille. Amuro met the group at the lounge with Quattro passing by.Most other scenes are cut from the episode including. -The exchange between Amuro and Quattro which included his iconic "I came here to laugh at you" line. -Katz's theft of the Gundam Mk. II as his group were sent to pursue Rosamia's ORX-005 Gaplant. -Irma's discovery that Amuro was a pilot of the Gundam. -Rosamia's solo battle against Katz, Quattro and Kamille over San Francisco's derelict Golden Gate Bridge. -Amuro's sullenness towards his crew for not being allocated a mobile suit at a sortie was cut to his exchange with Irma at an elevator.
