The Aragon Ballroom in Chicago was used to film the scene where John Dillinger meets Billie Frechette for the first time. She tells him she is a coat check girl at a night club. When he meets her later to ask why she ran out on him last night, they are filming downstairs in the Aragon Ballrooms coat check. The ballroom was the filming location of a Green Day concert in 1995 for MTV widely available on YouTube.
